In 2010, I will....

I will have FRESH FLOWERS in the house. Cold, snowy Cleveland winters are in desperate need of something colorful and alive. I love having a fresh bouquet on the dining room table. Trader Joe's definitely has the best selection and the best prices. This bouquet in the photo is from my favorite little farm that sells fresh flowers and the most amazing selection of vegetables and fruits in the summer and fall.

Is it spring yet??

In 2010, I will....

I will BLOG more....
Sometimes I feel uninspired and I just don't know what to blog about. I need to just let my mind wander and blog about whatever I feel like...even if it doesn't relate to a previous post. I want to meet other bloggers and learn about how to make my blog better and more creative.

good morning!

if you have a sweet tooth, then this place is your heaven

Laduree....the most famous (delicious, beautiful, amazing, I can keep going with the compliments) macaroon/pastry shop in Paris. If you are lucky enough to go to Paris, definitely stop in. The line looks intimidating (as well as the staff that are in tuxedos), but it is worth the wait. My husband took all the pictures because I was too overwhelmed and I was basically in awe of where I was. Decadent is the best word to describe both the atmosphere and the tasty sweets that I indulged in.

More of the Louvre

The Louvre

One of my favorite photos of the trip is the first one listed on this post. I love how you can see the Eiffel Tower peeking out from behind the building and how the sunset casts a warm, romantic glow over the city.

I didn't forget about you Paris!

After an entire month of posting about Paris and sharing all of my photos, I sort of took a small vacation away from posting about our October 2009 trip. Well, I realized that I have a lot more to post about, so here goes...

In 2010, I will....

I have always been a book lover. There is nothing better than curling up with a good book. Wandering around a library or bookstore is one of my favorite pastimes that I have neglected to do as much as I would have liked this past year. I have made a resolution to read at least one book per month. I also want to get our book club back together. I miss meeting at random coffee shops or little restaurants to talk about books.

*I have no idea where I found this picture, but I LOVE it :)

home sweet home

I have been officially slacking on my posts!! A few weeks ago, we went exploring Cleveland. We drove through the back roads and discovered random alley ways and graffiti along the way. We found great views of the city and views of the river.
